About Collo
Collo and his siblings came to us at the end of August 2021. There were 8 puppies that were placed in a cardboard box in front of our shelter. They were not yet 2 months old at that time. During the medical examination in our practice, some of them tested positive for parvo virus. Immediately our doctors started treatment. Unfortunately, two of them did not survive. Another two of the little ones had serious problems with their legs and could move only with great difficulty. With these two we went to a special clinic in Sarajevo to clarify if and how they could be helped. Unfortunately, the deformities on the legs were so severe that we soon had to assume severe pain and there was no possibility of healing. With a heavy heart we had to put them to sleep. Collo, his brother and his two sisters were strong and they are now healthy and lovely dogs. Collo is still a bit shy, but we can understand that, because the recovery process was not easy. The four siblings spend their time in a group of other dogs of the same age and are waiting for a loving family.
