About Ebba
In March 2022 Ebba and her newborn little puppies were found by a local resident in an abandoned small building piled with garbage and rubble (see News March 2022). The kind and caring woman brought the dog family to us, they were immediately cared for by our doctors and given a warm, dry place with us, where mother Ebba could take care of her 8 babies in peace. Despite the most intensive care by our doctors, unfortunately, it was not possible to save the puppies. Due to the very poor conditions in which they were born and Ebba’s poor health at the time (anemia and bacterial infections on her legs), the puppies were too weak to survive. Ebba was left alone and needed a lot of time for her recovery. In the meantime, she is doing much better and is now ready to be adopted by a very loving and caring family. Our dear, calm and gentle Ebba, who struggled for survival on the streets for a long time, the traces of the past are still visible. When she arrived she was very emaciated, her legs are not as straight as they should be, but today her health is quite good and she is not in pain.
