About Jock

One morning in July 2022, we found Jock and his siblings near a main road in a bush after an unknown person abandoned the little puppies in an open crate. We saw the disoriented little pups crawling out of the crate and sniffing around. We searched the area thoroughly to make sure we had all the siblings, there were 5 in total, which we immediately took to our doctors. Upon examination, all siblings tested positive for the parvovirus and medical treatment was started immediately. Fortunately, we managed to cure them all. The treatment of the little puppies, who were separated from their mother much too early, took weeks, and since the immune system was weak, the skin of the puppies suffered and had to be treated as well. Now, fortunately, all the siblings are healthy and may finally leave our shelter to be taken in by loving and patient people. Jock and his siblings are all lovely dogs, but a bit shy and reserved towards people. This behavior does not surprise us, however, as humans separated them from their mother too early and they had to be cured with unpleasant infusions. We hope very much that we will find a family for all our dear ones, who can show them the beautiful sides of life with a lot of calmness and with a lot of understanding and give them a nice dog life.
