Lucky

About Lucky

Lucky came to us in August 2026, when we found him near the industrial area, wandering around the rubbish with his friend Juicebox, desperately searching for something to eat. We didn’t think twice. We knew these two boys needed help, so we brought them to our shelter. They were extremely thirsty and covered in ticks, but thankfully, they were finally somewhere safe. After a thorough medical examination, Lucky was neutered. During the procedure, our veterinarians discovered that he is cryptorchid, meaning that one of his testicles had not descended. One testicle was successfully removed, while the other could not be located. This does not affect Lucky’s health or quality of life, and he has no difficulties because of it. Today, Lucky is a completely different dog.  He is playful, affectionate and loves being around people. And his friendship with Juicebox is still just as strong. The two of them spend their days together, sleep in the same kennel and happily play in the yard. They clearly feel safe and comfortable in each other’s company. Lucky has already learned that life can be kind. Now he is waiting for the part of his story we hope will be the best one yet — a loving forever home of his own.
